Modified index.php for hiding spesific category

Hello all,

I need some php code to put on index.php for hiding spesific category, i know we can hide category using admin cpanel, but im need to hiding category with modified the index.php file.

any one here have any idea? about the php code...

I think if you would like to hide some data on page "index.php" in Discuz board, you should modify discuz.htm file in this directory ....templates/default/discuz.htm, and then use this code to hide for your member

1. <!--{if $discuz_uid}-->
   
2. Data or category  that you want to hide for member only
   
3. <!--{/if}-->

But in my opinion, if I would like to hide  all category  , i can. But I can hide the specific category  by using this code.

maybe if im just illustrate what i want, like this:

if gid = (specified gid) { !empty($gid) }

maybe like that, so we can make some specific category become invisible for all member, in this case include the admin too...
